POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Associate Digital Asset Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Digital Marketing for Constellation Brands U.S. and manage the current digital asset management (DAM) system and also help establish the foundation for a global/enterprise DAM solution. This position will be crucial in maintaining the corporate brand identity as well as the identities of Constellation’s portfolio of brands. You will work closely with corporate communications, key brand and trade marketing employees, NAIT personnel, and corporate agencies amongst others, to ensure all marketing assets are adequately incorporated and maintained in the DAM system to improve efficiency and speed in asset creation and usage, permissions, licensing, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages the existing digital asset management system (asset library) which is accessed by internal and external users via the company intranet (the VINE) and extranet (cwine.com)
• Acts as a representative for the business and as subject matter expert in DAM. Develops process flows, submits business and functional requirements to NAIT, and drives overall cross-functional project management.
• Establishes standards for naming, tagging, and formatting new and existing assets.
• Establishes metadata requirements and values that will serve as a global standard and assigns appropriate metadata for assets.
• Works closely with various departments and agencies to gather assets for integration into the system as well as ongoing maintenance.
• Facilitates and oversees the uploading of assets into system
• Archives and purges files as necessary
• Maintains accurate procedures and records for the system and generates asset reports to identify areas for DAM improvements and/or optimization.
• Provides initial and on-going system training for various levels of users (agencies and employees) on how to upload, tag, view and download assets from the DAM system.
• May also support training and management tied to asset uploads/modifications to the web content management system.
• Determines scope and develops content of training materials for internal users.
• Stays informed of latest DAM technology trends and innovations
Creates and supports ideas and suggestions to improve the system and processes
• Coordinates with asset owners in the uploading of new file and the addition of new brands to the system.
• Supports the content migration project from the existing DAM to the Oracle ECM/DAM.
• Performs QA testing and conducts user testing with key stakeholders to validate the performance and success of the DAM website. Reports results to NAIT and proposes system changes and functionality to solve functional and user interface (UI) errors and failures.
• Supports on-going DAM user interface optimization, driving navigation enhancements according to best practices & user feedback.
• Establishes and enforces standards, procedures, and policies in relation to the governance and management of the digital asset library.QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in web content management, technical, and/or other information technology or web roles
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Experience with a Enterprise Content Management System such as Oracle, Vignette, Documentum, etc.
• 3-5 years Web site user experience design
• Strong oral and written communications skills necessary
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary for working with fellow employees and vendors at various levels
• Basic creative/design understanding to enable efficient working relationship with creative partners and agencies
• Familiarity with wine terminology preferred

• Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
