| Description: | We are looking for an experienced manager for our client Data Assets Management team for a fixed term 1 year contract. You will be responsible for the implementation and on-going operational management of the technical solutions which support the management of our clients digital assets and physical objects libraries. The role plays a key part in ensuring the effective implementation of new technology along with the associated business change across the international operation.
Key measurements for this role are: - Accountable for the availability of digital asset management application globally - Responsible for ensuring the digital asset management application meets the business needs - Management of all resources around the clients DAM system ecosystem - Management and delivery of budgets relating DAM systems including CAPEX and OPEX Specific Responsibilities PROJECT MANAGEMENT Define the scope and approach for DAM projects Define, put in place and maintain appropriate project governance and reporting procedures Identify and liaise with key stakeholders for projects to ensure that the project is on target to deliver the agreed business objectives throughout the project lifecycle Produce Project Briefs, Business Cases and Project Initiation Documents and other project management and governance documentation as required Prepare detailed project plans and monitor actual progress against plan Manage project risks and develop contingency plans as appropriate Manage project budgets ensuring cost effective use of the budget and appropriate financial management e.g. accurate reporting of expenditure and cash flow planning Setup and manage the change control process to minimise ‘scope creep’ BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND IMPLEMENTATION Work closely with the business users to define and document the new operational processes and detailed workflows required to support the successful deployment of new business and media applications Work with the business and development teams to develop configuration & design requirements for system development Produce test plans and ensure support from within the business for UAT is provided as necessary Design training documentation and deliver training sessions Manage the accurate migration of data to the new operational environment |
